You’ll notice that in this site (which is part user-friendly living room, part catalyst for awakening, part sanctuary for healing, and part rant room) I employ many voices. The wild and the scholarly, the intuitive and the analytic, the scientific and the poetic, all coexist here, together creating a space of transformational possibility.

My passion is to take as good care as possible of this space, so that my efforts help serve your healing and awakening, whether you work directly with me, or simply spend some time with my essays, poetry, blog, and newsletter.

What I share here is crafted from over 30 years of deep immersion in – and equally deep work with – human nature and evolution. I’ve had my successes, but it’s been my failures that have most deeply instructed me. Some of my most powerful teachings have arrived when I‘ve been down on my hands and knees in the mud. Whatever it took to learn the lessons by heart. Dying to live.

And are not we all dying to live, to really live? Are we not being invited, by everything that happens to us, to enter a deeper life, a life of full-blooded awakening?

Let us enter, both alone and together, what we never really left, but only dreamt that we did. May we become intimate with all that we are, allowing ourselves to be awakened by all things.

Here we are, gathered from afar, fleshing out necessity, wandering half-blind through achingly real dreamlands, playing hide-and-seek with What-Really-Matters. So small we are, flickering for the briefest of moments, meteoric tracings against the pure black of infinite space, and yet also so immeasurably vast are we, existing as more than we can possibly imagine.
